The Process of a Remake

Verse 1

I was walking through the valley, shadows all around,
Stumbled on my own ways, lost and feeling down.
But then I heard a whisper, a voice so clear and bright,
“Child, I am with you, in the darkest night.”

Pre-Chorus

Tears were falling, heart was aching,
But through the storm, I felt Him shaping,
Molding me like clay in His hands,
Leading me to understand.

I know the Lord loves me, He said it and I heard,
But if I say I love Him, then I’ve got to keep His word.
There were some bubbles that I had to pop,
Before it rise to the top, all this was for my sake,
God gave me a break.
I’m in the process of a remake, God had to make me over.

Life’s a journey, not a race,
Sometimes we stumble, fall from grace,
But every fall’s a lesson, a chance to grow,
To rise again, let His love show.
(Proverbs 24:16 – “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”)

Broken pieces, He’ll gather them,
Turn the mess into a gem,
In the fire, He refines,
Till His light in me shines.
(Malachi 3:3 – “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver…”)

Every trial, every test,
He’s working on me, giving His best,
I surrender, I let go,
Trusting Him, my faith will grow.
(Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…”)

Like gold in the furnace, pure and bright,
He’s refining me, giving new sight,
With every struggle, I’m closer to His grace,
In His love, I find my place.
(1 Peter 1:7 – “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth…”)

Burdens lifted, soul restored,
By His spirit, I’m transformed,
Old things pass, new things come,
In His likeness, I become.
