Their story

The hymnbook, sung close. Shalom Sisters carry the songs the church already knows by heart — “Nothing but the Blood”, “Pass Me Not”, “I Need Thee Every Hour”, “Trust and Obey” — and sing them the way a family sings them: voices around one microphone, no distance between the parts. “Change the Atmosphere” is the one that broke out of the family and into the room. Thirty songs deep, the largest catalogue on the roster, and still the act most likely to stop a service dead.
