Breath of God

Lyrics

[Intro]
Breath of God, move in this place
Make room in every guarded space

[Verse 1]
When Your wind comes through, dry bones stand
You find the worn-out heart again
When Your Spirit moves, we rise
With morning mercy in our eyes

[Chorus]
Breath of God, move right here
Breathe Your courage, draw us near
Let the weary find their ground
Let Your steady love surround
Breath of God, move

[Verse 2]
You meet us in the ordinary days
At kitchen tables, in the waiting
No locked door can keep You out
You know our names, You hear us now

[Chorus]
Breath of God, move right here
Breathe Your courage, draw us near
Let the weary find their ground
Let Your steady love surround
Breath of God, move

[Spoken Word]
The prophet Ezekiel stood in a valley filled with dry bones. And God asked him, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Then came the word: “I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.”
Maybe you know that valley—the long stretch between what was and what might be. But the breath of God still reaches places we thought were finished. So take heart. What feels spent is not beyond His care. What feels quiet is not beyond His hearing. We are not asked to make life from nothing; we are invited to trust the One who gives breath.

[Revamp Chorus]
Breath of God, move through this room
Call the buried hope to bloom
Take these tired hearts and renew
We are listening, Lord, move through
Breath of God, move

[Bridge]
You give breath to the broken
You make a way through the dry
We will stand on Your promise
We will lift our eyes

Move in this place
Move in our hearts
Breathe on us, Lord
And make us new
Breath of God, move
Breath of God, move
