Psalm 66 says,
“Come and hear,
all ye that fear God,
and I will declare
what he hath done for my soul.”

That means sometimes
somebody needs to hear
what God did for you.

Because they’re standing
where you used to stand.

They’re scared
where you used to be scared.

They’re waiting
where you used to wait.

And your testimony might remind them—

give them courage

still in the middle of the trial,
keep them long enough
to have a testimony on the other side.

Protect their families.

Order their decisions.

Strengthen their faith.

Correct them where they are wrong.

Comfort them where they are hurting.

And keep them humble
when the breakthrough comes.

Let every testimony
point back to Jesus.

Not ego.

Not luck.

Not ourselves.

Jesus.
